Our Facilities

 

The club caters for all abilities and all ages, from junior to veteran, from novices to potential International Athletes.  The club tries to give every section of the club a designated coach. Our season begins for  crews from September each year, but we are open to new members all year round 

 

 

The club has a large fleet of 24 boats which are mainly Janousek Racing boats, as they are a strong and fast club boat and these boats are assigned to crews based on their ability and speed.

Some Veteran crews privately own their boats; and we currently have 2 privately owned eights stored in the boathouse

 

 

A large number of our members own their own single sculls and these are racked at the club.  Racking for single sculls is competitive but the club is working hard to find new racking solutions due to increasing demand.  Please contact the captain for information on racking space.

 

 

The club currently has a "Degraff" boat trailer and branded towing vehicle to transport equipment to events.

 

 

The club has the following facilities within its boathouse: -

1.     Large hall which houses our;

- Concept II Ergometers (rowing machines - 9 x model Cs).

- Weights area (large selection of Olympic and standard weights, benches &

   Smith machine).

- Area for circuit training / stretching.

2.     Male and female changing rooms.

3.     Male and female toilets and showers.

4.     Bar.

5.     Kitchen.

6.     Committee Room.

 

 

The main club nights are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from about 6:00pm

 

 

The bar is open on Saturday afternoons from 4pm, Friday night quizzes and other specific social events 

 

 

Nearly all members are down the club Saturday & Sunday mornings from 9am. 

 

 

The club is available to member's everyday
