Club Development

 

 

The club's development plan is a succinct document which is designed to help plan for the clubs future. It lays down our vision, its aims and the way in which the club can achieve them over a specific period of time.

 

It will become a "living document" which will be updated on a regular basis reflecting the varying rates of progress with initiatives, and it will be reviewed by the Club and Committee at least once per annum.

 

The clubs development plan is currently being reviewed by the committee, to be presented to the club in the new year  

 

 

 

The Vision

 

"To promote & support rowing in Belfast and to become the largest, most

successful open club in Ireland through a sustainable development plan, which is

monitored & updated on a regular basis"

 

 

 

 

We are currently in the 1st year of a 5year plan to achieve this vision, focusing on 4 main issues : -

 

1.   Maintain and enhance our existing membership,

2.   Build our membership through a holistic recruitment strategy

3.   Refurbish and improve the equipment & facilities available to our members

4.   Support & develop our coaching resources 

 

 

 

Our ultimate aim being to have a new boathouse and professional coach in place by

2015
